Welcome to the home page of Boy Scout Troop 957!

If you are between 11 and 18 years of age, you and your family are welcome to join the family of Troop 957!

Come and join us! Don't forget to bring an adult member of your family with you. Adults can also join you in the fun and in outdoor adventures!

The Edgebrook Lutheran Church of Chicago has held the charter to BSA Troop 957 since 1946. It has been using Scouting as part of the service to its own members, as well as to the community at large. The Scouting Program primarily serve Scouts and families in Edgebrook, Forest Glen, Sauganash, and Wildwood comunities.

Dear Friends of Mike Garcia and his family:

As you may be aware, Mike Garcia, former Cubmaster of Cub Scout Pack 3815 and longtime Scout leader of Boy Scout Troop 815 at St. Pascal’s Parish, has recently been diagnosed with stage four stomach cancer and is currently undergoing extensive chemotherapy treatments. The shocking news came just after Thanksgiving when Mike started experiencing symptoms of the flu.

Congratulations Eagle Scout Paul Schmidt

Last night, November 30, 2011, Paul Schmidt faced the Eagle Board of Review. His performance clearly indicated that he has achieved the leadership skills and level of responsibility expected of an Eagle Scout. The Eagle Board of Review unanimously recommended that Paul receive the Eagle Scout rank. Paul is Edgebrook Lutheran Church, Troop 957's 72nd Eagle Scout!
